Specht Elementary School

Specht Elementary is part of Comal ISD in San Antonio TX. During the unprecedented Texas Snow storm in early 2021, the school suffered substantial damage. In order to prevent future damage and restore the floors to be both beautiful and durable, we were asked by Skanska to replace Specht’s LVT flooring with polished concrete.

Throughout the school, 34,000 SF of Diamond Polished Concrete was installed with a 1500 Grit finish. A dyed concrete star was installed in the main hallway as a focal point in the overall design.

In under 2 months time, Specht Elementary was restored with beautiful durable floors built to withstand heavy foot traffic.
