Hines at the Stack

Hines at the Stack is Dallas’s newest 16-story, mixed-use building with 14,000 square feet of prime street-front retail and nearly 200,000 square feet of state-of-the-art office space in the Deep Ellum neighborhood (Hines.com). We were asked by Balfour Beatty Construction to provide polished concrete flooring throughout the hallways of The Stack’s 16th-floor office space, including a central cafe area called “The Hub.”

We installed 4,615 SF of Polished Concrete at an 400 Grit finish, and 680 SF of polished concrete with pattern, scoring and dye in The Hub. The design in The Hub consisted of a geometric, triangle pattern in the color Black Orchid in two different shades. Polished concrete was selected so that the office space would remain both beautiful and durable against the high foot traffic the office anticipated on a daily basis.

In a little over 6 months, the office space was complete and ready for visitors. It was a pleasure to work alongside a great crew and provide a strong, durable flooring for The Stack.
