The Link Event + Recreation Center is a brand new, over 28,000 SF multi-purpose activity center for the community of Richland Hills. The Link facilities include an indoor walking track, fitness and weight rooms, a gymnasium, public meeting spaces, arts and crafts areas, outdoor playgrounds and splash feature. The Link also provides a host of programs, including senior and children’s programming, fitness classes, arts and crafts, summer camps and more.
We helped create a unique outdoor water feature for members to enjoy. The water feature (referred to as the Link Plaza) is operational every day from 8AM-8PM and features a fountain surrounded by 6-10 foot-tall architectural steel columns that produce billowing clouds of mist periodically. There are also water spouts sprinkled throughout the Link Plaza that are set to different programs to keep patrons on their toes. The feature lights up at night in shades of blue, pink and purple.
Our portion of the project includes two finishes from the Bomanite Exposed Aggregate System, 395 SF of Bomanite Revealed ™ Glass and 335 SF of Bomanite Alloy. The Landscape Architect selected colors from our standard sample boards.
The project’s general contractor was Cheyenne Construction Company out of Fort Worth.
