Greenhill School
Situated on 75 acres in Addison, Texas, Greenhill School serves just under 1,300 students in grades Pre-K through 12th. Founded in 1950, Greenhill School is one of the most prestigious college-preparatory schools in the Dallas area. The Greenhill School campus is comprised of 15 buildings, an athletic complex, theatre, library and the new state-of-the-art Marshall Family Performing Arts center, totaling over 303,000 square feet under roof. The campus also features many free-roaming peacocks who serve as the unofficial mascot of the school.Β
The Marshall Family Performing Arts building opened earlier this year and is the brand new home of the band, choir, dance, strings and theatre. Texas Bomanite installed 11,500 SF of 2β colored topping slab with decorative saw cuts on the first floor. The first floor then received a Bomanite custom polished finish. The common areas on the second floor also received the Bomanite polish system. In the auditorium, we installed 875 LF Micro-Top finish at the orchestra and balcony risers. Finally, we used Bomanite Con-Color stain to enhance 17,975 SF of exterior concrete. Β Β
The performing arts center was designed by Weiss/Manfredi (www.weissmanfredi.com) out of New York and Page Southerland Page Dallas (www.pagethink.com). Andres Construction Services (www.andresconstruction.com) served as General Contractor. The project turned out beautifully and we feel honored to have been a part of it!
