Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum
The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility located in Downtown Dallas. It is comprised of over 33,000 square feet of rich history, awareness and education, with three permanent exhibitions. These include the Holocaust/Shoah Wing, the Human Rights Wing, and the Pivot to America Wing, all designed to advance human rights and βcombat prejudice, hatred, and indifference.β (source: dhhrm.org)
We worked on all three levels of the museum to provide flooring that would maximize the space and give the museum a clean, modern and progressive feel. We completed 11,010 SF of Polished Concrete, including a 3β Topping Slab (poured by others), Class D Large Aggregate Exposure, Level 3 1500 Grit Polish, and the Bomanite VitraFlor System all over. 4,780 LF of Polyurea Joint Filler in the color Gauntlet Gray by Metzger McGuire finished off these areas. On the third level Exhibit Hall, we finished 16,865 SF of polished concrete with a Class B Salt & Pepper Aggregate Exposure, a Level 3-1500 Grit Shine, and the Bomanite VitraFlor System.
In the outdoor courtyard, we created the decorative sculpture bases & walls. This projectβs General Contractor was Austin Industries. For more information on the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, visit dhhrm.org.
