The Crow Museum of Asian Art at University Texas Dallas is a stunning architectural addition to the university’s campus that showcases Asian art in a space that marries culture and tradition to carefully-curated design.
We were brought on board to deliver 28,000 SF of high-gloss polished concrete and 9,700 SF of honed matte concrete. This ambitious project required a custom approach to meet the precise design and functional goals of the architect, Morphosis, and general contractor, Beck.

First-Floor Lobby & Exhibit Halls (28,000 SF)
- Finish: Class D Large Aggregate, 3,000 Grit High-Gloss Polish.
- Design: Custom concrete mix by architect and Custom Rock.
- Features: Decorative sawcuts between control joints.
- Polishing System: L&M FGS Hardener Plus & Petrotex.
- Process: Initial grind completed pre-construction; floors protected with Skudo HT Commercial System during construction.
Back-of-House Storage Areas (9,700 SF)
- Finish: 400 Grit Matte Polished Concrete.
