Heart of a Champion Luncheon 2014

As many of you know, we enjoy supporting and volunteering for Heart House Dallas, a not-for-profit organization that provides a safe, fun and educational place for at-risk children to spend their afternoons after school.  Each year, Heart House hosts its largest fundraising event of the year, the Heart of a Champion Luncheon.

 

This year, we are proud to feature keynote speaker, retired NBA champion and Dallas business leader, Michael Williams.  An Oak Cliff native, Michael experienced first-hand how barriers can impact success and self-esteem.  By focusing on his athletics and schoolwork, Michael was able to excel in school, at Baylor University, in the NBA, in the business world and beyond.  Michael truly exemplifies what it means to have the heart of a champion.
