BookPeople Completed in ABIA

BookPeople bookstore has been the leading independent bookstore in Texas since 1970. Based in the heart of downtown Austin, BookPeople is expanding to include a storefront in the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. A remodel of existing space, the nearly 1,500 square foot store used a custom Micro-Top color to match a Sherwin Williams paint color as well as additional custom colors. The project was sealed with a water base urethane.

Since an airport can’t close for repairs, all work had to be done at night to create the least amount of disruption possible and the crews had to meet extensive TSA security requirements. BookPeople will be one of three retail projects that Texas Bomanite has completed at ABIA.
