WholeLife Service Center

For over 61 years, Houston-based The Women’s Home has worked to build whole lives for women and children. Their mission is to strengthen and support families as they reclaim their stability after homelessness, addiction and/or abuse through a unique model of care called Whole Life.  This approach works to service the whole individual by promoting emotional/mental, physical, social, spiritual, vocational and financial wellness.

In October of 2016, The Women’s Home broke ground on the Mabee WholeLife Service Center, a 30,000 SF facility that opened in the fall of 2017 that now offers primary and behavioral healthcare, educational services for both children and adults and vocational guidance.

Texas Bomanite provided a colorful and warm ambience using 3 colors of acid stained and acrylic sealed concrete in the lobby using a pattern of geometric shapes in the colors Pine, Seal Brown and Sea Mist.  Also, throughout the 15,000 SF of classroom space, a rich and calming effect is achieved by using the Seal Brown color of acid stain, also sealed with acrylic.  In total, we stained and sealed 13,500 SF of concrete.
