Founded in 1868 in downtown Dallas, the
First Baptist Church has grown to a membership of over 12,000 people. To accommodate the large congregation and to
provide a unique and functional place of worship, First Baptist underwent a
$135 Million expansion and renovation to its downtown campus. The project was the largest of its kind in
modern church history and now covers six blocks in the heart of downtown
Dallas.
